Lauren's love for performing began at three years old when she attended her first dance class at the Elisabeth School of Dance in Hayes, Middlesex. She was taught by Lisa Shattock who gave her lessons in every single style of dance and a fantastic starting guide to the dance world. Lauren stayed training with Lisa until the age of 16 when she then went on to train professionally at Laine Theatre Arts, graduating with her National Diploma in Musical Theatre (TRINITY, London).
During her time at Laine's she taught at their annual summer school helping in the musical theatre department which gave her a great insight into different teaching techniques and ideas she could carry into her own teaching.
In the 3 years she was training she also set up weekly musical theatre workshops at Suzanne's School of Dance in Ickenham where she met some amazingly talented students who have now gone on to train professionally at various prestigious colleges including Italia Conti, Tring and Urdang.
Most recently, Lauren played the role of Dale Tremont in Top Hat. Prior to this she played Liz Holt in Drew McOnie’s Strictly Ballroom in Toronto and West Yorkshire Playhouse.
